Possible signs of Hearing problems can include:
- Inattentiveness or poor concentration
- Not responding to their name
- Talking loudly and listening to the television at a high volume
- Difficulty locating where sound is coming from
- Mispronouncing words
- A change in progress at school or change in behaviour.

Good hearing is essential for a child’s development and general wellbeing.
Without good hearing, development of speech and language can be affected, it can also have a knock on affect to their social skills and have an impact on their education.

What causes hearing loss in children?
There can be several causes for hearing loss in children. Some can be temporary that can resolve themselves such as following a cold.
Others are more long-standing that require intervention such as Ear infection, Glue ear, Excessive Earwax etc.
